Otsego Lake County Park Special Events 2012

April 1st - May 3rd All Campsites $12.00 per night

May 4th - 6th Free Camper Clean-up Weekend -Campers are asked to bring their rakes and rake the campsite they are staying on. Park Rangers will be in the campground to assist. Free Camping Friday and Saturday evening. Reservations are not accepted for this weekend. However, campers must still register their sites at the Ranger Station upon arrival.

May 25th - 27th Memorial Day Weekend Hayrides, candy bingo, ice cream social for campers and visitors

June 8th - 10th Sea Plane Splash-in 31st Annual Otsego Lake Splash-in. Parade of Planes, Take Off Contests, Spot Landing Contests and Bomb Drops (winds and weather permitting) courtesy of www.seaplanes.org

June 19th - 24th Military Appreciation Week All active and former Military Personnel (County and Non-County Residents and their families are invited to camp 5 nights for $25.00. Military or Veterans ID REQUIRED upon registration. One ID per campsite. Arrive Tuesday or anytime after Tuesday until Sunday at 1:00p.m. Several activities planned including candy bingo, a cook-out, ice cream social and a flag ceremony. The flag ceremony is scheduled for Saturday morning. We invite any service members attending to wear their uniforms. A "Wall of Honor" will be displayed at the ranger station. Military discount is only offered during this week.

June 30th Fireworks over Otsego Lake Hayrides, Bike Parade, Music at Pavilion. Fireworks at Dusk

July 7th Mark Mellon Triathlon $3.00 vehicle permit required participants and visitors. For more information please visit www.markmellontri.com

August 25th - 26th Radio Control Splash-in (Fly-in) Event organized by Alpine Leisure Pilots Society. Activities are wind and weather permitting.

August 31st - September 2nd Labor Day Weekend Hayrides, candy bingo, ice cream social for campers and visitors

September 28th - 30th Halloween Weekend Reservations required. Events are for campers only

September 30 - Closing (Mid to Late October) All campsites $12.00 per night
